Store in a dry, temperate place.
To obtain a compact result, start by wetting the semolina of your choice (about 200 g is recommended for 4 persons). Place in a steam cooker, cover and cook for 5 minutes. Then, it is time for fluffing up, which consists simply in spreading the semolina in a dish and breaking any blocks that may have formed during the cooking process by hand. Repeat the operation several times to obtain individual semolina grains and prepare a tasty couscous, tabbouleh or any other dish you like in an oriental style to vary the pleasure.
For 2 persons
Pour the semolina into a salad bowl. Boil the water with salt and pour 2/3 of it on top of the semolina. Do not mix. Cover with a damp cloth and let it swell for 5 minutes. Then use your fork to fluff it up. Pour in the rest of the water and cook it again for 2 minutes in the microwave oven. Take out of the oven, add the butter (you can also add olive oil) and mix it again with your fork to fluff it up properly. It’s ready! If you like, add some spices to the water to give it taste and/or add raisins to your cooked semolina that have been previously swollen in tea.
